FMC To Hold Post Conference At NAB2005

New York, NY--Following the success of the first Post|Production educational conference, which took place during NAB earlier this year, Future Media Concepts (FMC), a digital media training center and conference producer, has announced that it will organize the 2005 Post|Production educational conference at next year’s NAB (April 16-21 2005). The 2005 conference will feature an increased number of sessions, a wider variety of topics, Spanish and Japanese language tracks, and boot camps for beginners as well as master classes for experienced users.
"When we designed the 2004 Post|Production educational conference, we wanted to provide digital media professionals from all over the world with access to world-class trainers and a unique opportunity to network with peers and celebrity presenters working on high profile projects," said Ben Kozuch, president and co-founder of Future Media Concepts. "We achieved all this and more as demonstrated by the attendee survey, which gave us an ‘A’ rating for customer service, sessions, and instructors. We are looking forward to building on this year’s successes with the 2005 conference."
"Our partnership with Future Media Concepts offers NAB Show attendees a world-class educational event to complement the world's largest display of audio and video production hardware to be seen on the show floor. We look forward to working with FMC as we continue to grow this event in 2005 and beyond, " said John Marino, vice president, science and technology, the National Association of Broadcasters.
Following the success of the very first NAB Individual Creative Excellence (ICE) Awards, which were also part of the Post|Production World Conference, Future Media Concepts and the National Association of Broadcasters are already planning next year’s awards. The 2005 categories will include Graphic & Animation (Broadcast); Graphic & Animation (Non-Broadcast); Graphic & Animation (Student); Interactive Design (Non-Broadcast); Producing & Directing (Non-Broadcast); Videography & Photography (Non-Broadcast); Editing (Broadcast); and Editing (Non-Broadcast). Editors, graphic artists, sound designers, web designers and videographers from any entity that uses the medium of digital art to produce exceptional work will be eligible to enter.
