For-A Ships Provides DCC-70HS and DCC-700 Color Correctors for East Coast Groups
For-A announced five major sales of its digital color corrector products. Twelve of the company's DCC-70 HS multiformat, multistandard correctors went to ESPN in Bristol, Conn. Five DCC-70 HS units went to ABC. NBC purchased four of the correctors. MSNBC in Secaucus, N.J. received two DCC-700 color correctors.
"We're thrilled that such well known and technically progressive broadcasters as ABC, Disney's Times Square Studios, ESPN, MSNBC and NBC have put their trust in For-A for their color correction needs," said Hiro Tanoue, For-A eastern region sales manager.
The company's DCC-70HS processes both 720p and 1080i HD formats. The DCC-700 is a digital component I/O color corrector that provides 32-bit performance with 4:4:4 component processing.
