By TVTechnology
published Ensequence, TVonics, ALi and Zinwell have signed on as supporters and members of the MHEG standard for DTV interactivity, according to IMPALA, the international MHEG association.
Originally developed and standardized by ISO in the mid-1990s, MHEG-5 is used on more than 23 million receivers deployed on the UK’s Freeview DVB-T platform. The latest version is also an ETSI standard. It is also deployed in New Zealand and has been specified by TVB in Hong Kong.
