Fox Business Channel Chooses Calrec
By TVTechnology
published Calrec is to supply two Bluefin-equipped Sigmas to Fox News for its New York operations, the audio console company said this week. The two will be connected on a Hydra network to allow access to remote sources. A third Sigma is in use at the Fox News Channel.
Sigma with Bluefin high-density signal processing has 320 channel processing paths on a single DSP card, with full EQ and dynamics on all channels, groups, and main outputs. These can be configured for up to 52 channels of full 5.1.
The order with the 30-year-old Hebden Bridge, United Kingdom firm was confirmed at the NAB2007 convention in Las Vegas last month.
