Sydney-based Premier Media Group, operators of FOX Sports in Australia, has installed three LEX graphics systems, two DynaCrawl independent, dual-ticker/time/temp/logo data display channels and a C-Mix multilayer digital video mixer, all supplied by Chyron.
The Chyron systems are being used in FOX Sport’s three studios for news, magazine shows and live production. FOX is using one LEX for sophisticated graphics on its 24/7 channel and both DynaCrawl systems for continuous ticker information displays. The network also uses Lyric offline software to prepare Chyron graphics at the start of a season or new show, allowing operators to arrange off site, but still at the desktop, without using a LEX system full time.
