Fritts to go one-on-one with FCC commissioner at NAB2005
Eddie Fritts — not ABC reporter Sam Donaldson — will interview FCC Chairman Kevin Martin at this year’s One-On-One session at NAB.
Martin, the newly named head of the commission, will meet Fritts at the FCC Chairman’s Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18 in Las Vegas. After the session, attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions.
Martin was promoted to chairman after four years as an FCC commissioner. Previously, he was a special assistant to the president for economic policy. He served on the Bush-Cheney Transition Team and was Deputy General Counsel for the Bush campaign. Prior to joining the campaign, Martin was an advisor to FCC Commissioner Harold Furchtgott-Roth, and also worked as an associate at the Washington, D.C. law firm, Wiley, Rein and Fielding.
