Gates Returns to Keynote CES2008
The Consumer Electronics Association recently announced that featured speakers at the organization’s January 2008 show will include executives from Intel, Microsoft and Panasonic.
Bill Gates, chairman of Microsoft Corp. is now scheduled to deliver a pre-show keynote address on Jan. 6. The following day, both Toshihiro Sakamoto, president of Panasonic AVC Networks Co., and Paul Otellini, Intel’s CEO will be delivering keynote addresses.
“What an incredible line up of industry visionaries to kick off the 2008 International CES. Bill Gates, Toshihiro Sakamoto and Paul Otellini are industry pioneers who have revolutionized the consumer technology industry through innovative and ground-breaking ideas,” said Gary Shapiro, CEA president and CEO. “We look forward to hearing their visions for the future of consumer technology, particularly the impact new consumer technology products will have on digital content and services.”
The 2008 International CES will take place in Las Vegas Jan. 7-10, 2008 and will feature new technology debuts in more than 30 product areas from some 2,700 exhibitors.
