Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), located in Hong Kong, has purchased Grass Valley equipment from Thomson Broadcast & Media Solutions.
This equipment will be installed in its new 100,000 sq meter TV City facility at Tseung Kwan O (TKO) in Hong Kong. Equipment purchased includes:
- Six Grass Valley XtenDD switchers
- Four DD and three Grass Valley Kalypso video production center switchers
- Several Saturn master switchers
- The Trinix, Venus and Triton routers
- Jupiter control systems
- The Grass Valley NetCaptain network management system
