Gray Television Taps Avid Solutions for News Production

Atlanta-based Gray Television is planning to deploy iNEWS systems across 13 stations and an end-to-end digital production environment at WOWT in Omaha, Neb.

The 13 stations to be standardize on iNEWS include a combination of CBS, NBC and ABC affiliates, including WVLT in Knoxville, Tenn.; WRDW in Augusta, Ga.; and
KKTV in Colorado Springs, Colo. The end-to-end workflow installation in Omaha will represent a first for Avid.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Gray owns 29 stations in 25 markets.
