Greg Hoskin was recently named Omnibus Systems executive vice president of sales. Hoskin will continue a prolific 30-year career that featured strategic roles with Omneon Inc. and Megahertz Broadcast Systems.
Responsibilities of his new role include developing markets for the iTX, Omnibus’ IT-based transmission and automation platform, a familiar task given Hoskin's past experience with systems integration and file server technologies.
Hoskin’s decision was made in part by the success of the iTX platform. “The market has woken up to the fact that next-generation products based on IT platforms meet financial, business and operational objectives much better than the traditional solutions.”
He also cited iTX’s successful sales figures and its impact in the industry, making for an exciting prospect.
