G-SAM to produce asset management pavilion at NAB2004

The NAB has asked the Global Society of Asset Management (G-SAM) to produce a Digital Asset Management Pavilion featuring network storage and security at NAB2004.

“The importance of digital asset management to the electronic media communities is becoming more apparent as each year passes,” said Chris Brown, senior vice president, Conventions & Expositions, NAB. “There were more than 80 companies featuring digital asset management at NAB2003. We have tapped into G-SAM’s expertise and industry knowledge to add focus and clarity to the show floor and take the DAM pavilion to the next level.”

The first Digital Asset Management Pavilion (Booth SL2769) will house the DAM Theater, sponsored by Artesia Technologies, and feature exhibits, demonstrations, special speaker presentations and panels from leading companies in: Digital Asset Management, Data Backup, Storage Management, SAN, NAS, Metadata Management, and Network Storage Security.

Richard Eberhart, G-SAM’s executive director, chairs the Program Advisory Council for the Digital Asset Management Pavilion presentation area which will feature presentations by asset management, network storage and security companies.

EMC will sponsor A DAM reception from 4:30-6 p.m. Tuesday, April 20.
