The Outdoor Channel has tapped Harris to automate its new HD network, Outdoor Channel 2 HDSM, slated to launch July 1.
The Harris ADC-100 automation system will be used for management and play-out of content and also for control of the integration of promos, interstitials and logos.
The configuration includes the Harris Air Client, an interface that enables the operator to receive real-time updates and streamline basic functions. Also, the system for Outdoor Channel includes Harris Media Client, which oversees the cataloging, dubbing and timing of material for play-out.
