HDNet to Carry Major League Soccer in HD

published Major League Soccer and HDNet have struck a three-year deal to broadcast live HDTV coverage of MLS games. The exclusive nationally televised HD coverage of "MLS on HDNet" begins April 12 with the San Jose Earthquakes hosting the Colorado Rapids.
The full 2003 regular season package will feature at least 28 consecutive Saturday contests and all "MLS on HDNet" games will be produced and broadcast by HDNet production crews. The games, as well as background features on the players will be broadcast in 1080i.
