Hurricane Impact Panel to Meet March 6

published An FCC panel reviewing the impact of Hurricane Katrina on communications networks plans to meet on March 6 at Jackson State University in Mississippi.
The panel's meeting will include oral presentations regarding the impact of Katrina on the telecom and media infrastructures, including public safety communications, and ways to improve disaster prep, network reliability and communications among first responders.
The group will make recommendations to the FCC by June 15.
