The International Association of Broadcast Manufacturers (IABM) has honored Lyle Keys, founder of TeleMation and Utah Scientific, with its 2007 Honorary Membership.
The IABM Honorary Membership, founded in 2006 to mark its 30th anniversary, honors individuals who have made an exceptional personal contribution to the supply side of the broadcast technology business.
Keys started his career in the broadcast industry in 1953. He was the founder and president of TeleMation, an early manufacturer of equipment for the broadcast, cable and CCTV industries. In 1977, he formed Utah Scientific. The company continued under his management until 1987. In 1991, Keys ventured into the telecom service business at Teltrust.
