IBC2009: 360 Systems' Maxx HD Servers Now Shipping
360 Systems has begun shipping its next-gen line (Maxx HD) of HD video servers to its global customer base of broadcasters, cable, post production houses and mega-churches and synagogues.
The Maxx HD series, which was first demoed at NAB last April, will also be on display at IBC2009 in September in Amsterdam.
According to 360 Systems, a pair of late models currently available in the series notably includes the larger Maxx-2400 — featuring two record-channels, four HD-SDI output channels, SD monitoring, eight audio channels (per-video channel) and 12 TB of internal storage.
This larger edition also includes such post-production tools as trim, slow-mo, playlisting and remote workstation software. It was designed to be compatible with most major automation systems, and for applications such as play-to-air, satellite ingest cache, graphics store and key-and-fill with graphics.
360 Systems will be in Stand 10.A38.
