ICO Mobile Interactive Media targets backseat audience
Parents may never again hear "Are we there yet?" from backseat travelers if trials of satellite communications company ICO's new Mobile Interactive Media (ICO mim) service are successful.
Launching late this month in Las Vegas and Raleigh-Durham, NC, ICO mim will include a broad mix of news, children's, entertainment and sports offerings. Most recently, ICO announced a deal with Turner Broadcasting for content from Cartoon Network and Adult Swim.
Powered by ICO's G1 satellite, which launched last April, ICO mim will offer up to 15 channels of live mobile television to portable, larger-screen devices.
