ILC introduces transmitter remote control at NAB
Via its browser-based graphical user interface (GUI), MaxView facilitates collaboration amongst onsite and offsite staff who can monitor and control transmitters from anywhere with a network connection.
Network control software developer ILC will launch the first transmitter graphical interface that scales to multi-site remote control and ultimate comprehensive broadcast facilities management at NAB2004.
With MaxView, broadcasters integrate as much equipment into one management system as needed, from simple analog and digital transmitters, to the whole transmitter site, or farther still to include other separate segments of the broadcast chain.
MaxView can control any equipment type, regardless of brand or protocol, including contact closure, serial interfaces, and SNMP devices.
Via its browser-based graphical user interface (GUI), MaxView facilitates collaboration amongst onsite and offsite staff who can monitor and control transmitters from anywhere with a network connection. This enables creative approaches to how, when and where operations staff work.
MaxView integrates control of the entire broadcast facility into one system. It manages ingest, studio, playout, transmitter, satellite and IT infrastructure to support advanced control capabilities such as scheduling and automatic conflict resolution.
