Iowa Public Broadcasters Get $574,400 Grant

published Three public TV stations and one radio station in Iowa got a chunk of DTV transition money, due in part to Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), who announced that the Corporation for Public Broadcasting $574,400 in grants to the stations.
The CPB has awarded funds to Iowa Public Television and KALA public radio in Davenport as follows:
KDIN-TV in Des Moines — $261,300.
KRIN-TV in Waterloo — $121,500.
KSIN-TV in Sioux City — $121,500.
KALA-FM, in Davenport, licensed to St. Ambrose University — $70,000.
