Iraq Project to Use Broadcast Technology Receivers

published In an effort to convert the aging broadcast facilities in Iraq, the country's new government will be using Broadcast Technology Showman 5000 analog TV demodulators to provide high-quality off-air monitoring of television signals. U.K.-based Broadcast Technology is working as a partner with Harris Broadcast to re-build the television infrastructure in Iraq in a project called the Iraqi Media Network (IMN).
As part of the IMN, Harris is constructing studios, transmitters sites and a satellite distribution network throughout Iraq. IMN also includes facilities for a national newspaper.
