Irdeto Access, a provider of content protection solutions, has become the first foreign conditional access (CA) supplier in China to receive State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) CA certification.
Irdeto Access successfully completed the data retrieval and interface requirements set by China's SARFT for its conditional access solution, Irdeto PIsys.
The certification recognizes Irdeto Access' continued commitment to supporting policy formation within the SARFT and to complying with the requirements of relevant government agencies within China.
Irdeto Access received its CA certification after a demonstration on Qingdao CATV's platform, one of Irdeto Access' customers in China, during a national digital TV conference organized by the SARFT in Qingdao City.
