Jimmy Kimmel Live Uses Ikegami Cameras
With the help of Sweetwater Digital Production, 10 Ikegami HL-60W digital cameras are shooting "Jimmy Kimmel Live" for ABC's late night lineup.
The switchable 16:9/4:3 HL-60W features 38-bit internal processing, 65 dB signal-to-noise ratio and 750 TVL resolution as well as high sensitivity of f11 and low vertical smear of -135dB. It weighs 5.1 lbs, has a low 10 W power consumption and comes in component triax or two-channel triax configurations.
Sweetwater created a 601 serial digital control room for the show's studio in Hollywood's El Capitan complex by equipping a 64x24-foot double-wide trailer with systems geared toward a live show.
