John Sorensen to lead Broadway Systems
Broadway Systems, a provider of media management solutions for cable networks, has appointed John Sorensen as president. Sorensen will lead the company's efforts to provide sophisticated advertising management solutions to cable networks.
Prior to Encoda Systems' acquisition by Harris, Sorensen was president of Encoda Systems where he oversaw 14 regional offices, 28 software solutions and $124 million in revenue worldwide.
Headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI, Broadway Systems markets a software platform that helps cable networks manage their sales, planning, programming, traffic and billing operations all from a single integrated database. The company's solutions are designed to meet the complexities involved with managing cable network advertising, enabling an efficient revenue generation for its network clientele.
The company's client list includes Fox News, the Scripps Networks and College Sports Television (a division of CBS Sports).
Broadway Systems will be exhibiting at the upcoming NAB convention in April (Booth N4135).
