The JY-HD10U can upconvert or downconvert to/from virtually any format, including 1080i, 720/30p, 480/60p, and 480/60i, allowing users that shoot in HD to playback on any display with component inputs.
JVC Professional Products Company has announced “a revitalization and expansion” of its professional operations, a new marketing leader, and delivery of its HD camcorder.
Robert Harris, a former executive at Philips and Sony, was named vice president of marketing for JVC Professional Products. Harris will oversee all product development and marketing activities.
On the HD production front, JVC has begun shipping the JY-HD10U HD camcorder.
The JY-HD10U HD is part of what JVC is calling “HD for the Masses,” a series of products that bring professional-level HD shooting, editing, recording and playback to a wide range of professionals within the professional video and broadcast industry.
