Kansas City Station Taps Autocue for Newsroom System
By TVTechnology
published KSHB, an NBC affiliate in Kansas City, Mo., recently installed an Autocue Systems QSeries newsroom production system.
The QSeries' QNews (newsroom production) and QNet (prompting) components will be installed first, with the QMedia media management section to be installed later. Journalists will be able to use the system to write scripts by browsing edited video on desktop PCs. This allows them to select extra video items needed for a story and save time and effort.
KSHB officials cited the integrated nature of the QSeries' software and the system's efficiency as factors in the purchase.
