Kevin Martin Lands at DC Law Firm
Former Federal Communications Commission Chairman Kevin Martin will begin at Washington law firm Patton Boggs early this month where he will co-chair the firm’s growing technology and communications practice with Jennifer Richter.
Martin left the commission earlier this year and became a senior fellow at the Aspen Institute in the interim.
In a statement, Patton Boggs Managing Partner Stuart Pape praised Martin as a “dynamic addition,” and said that “there is a long and distinguished record of former FCC chairs succeeding in private practice. We have every expectation that Kevin will do that and more.”
Martin served on the FCC for eight years, including four as the agency’s chair. Before joining the FCC in 2001, Martin served as legal counsel for former President George W. Bush’s presidential campaign. He also worked at Wiley, Rein & Fielding.
