Konan Technology, a provider of digital asset management solutions, and Front Porch Digital, a specialist in the conversion, preservation and management of digital content, have announced a strategic alliance for digital archiving integration.
The cooperation between the two companies has already resulted in the successful deployment of a digital video archiving system for SBS, one of the major broadcasters in Korea.
The integration of Konan’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution — DigitalArc — and Front Porch Digital’s Storage and Archive Management Solution — DIVArchive, were used at SBS. The SBS system has produced a productive and cost-efficient workflow for video content management ranging from cataloging, indexing, archiving, editing, browsing to distribution, the companies said.
