Larry Oaks New Vice President of IT for Lin TV
Lin TV has announced that Larry Oaks has been selected as its new vice president of Information Technology. In this position, he will be responsible for overseeing all corporate IT efforts for Lin’s 29 television stations.
Oaks previously held the post of director of engineering for Lin and has had extensive experience and training in all areas of both television operations and information technology.
“Larry brings valuable experience and great energy to Lin TV,” said Scott Blumenthal, Lin TV’s executive vice president for television. “The special projects he managed in his previous position have prospered and his accomplishments indicate his ability to be successful in this newly-created role.”
Oaks is a graduate of Ball State University and has a Bachelor’s of Science in communications. He has been with Lin TV since 1979.
