Latens Inks Global Reseller Agreement With Motorola
Latens has inked a global reseller agreement with Motorola that makes its conditional access system (CAS) the core CAM component of Motorola's integrated IPTV ecosystem reference platform.
The agreement also encompasses the complete range of Latens' CA and middleware products for IPTV, cable, satellite and terrestrial applications.
Following the agreement Latens and Motorola products will be tightly integrated to provide operators with a turn-key solution. The partnership will enable operators to deploy and launch reliable IPTV services faster and more easily, decreasing costs and driving revenue generation, according to Latens.
"This agreement is a further testament to the level of superior security and flexibility that our software solutions provide Pay-TV operators," Jeremy Thorp, CEO of Latens, said. "Integrating and deploying the necessary elements of an IPTV system is a significant challenge, requiring specialized architecture and integration, combining resilience, scalability, and flexibility. The cumulative experience serving the Pay-TV market and the successful joint customer references we have obtained over recent years, continue to be key factors for operators deploying our joint solution. We are excited about our strengthened partnership with Motorola and look forward to continued and greater success."
