Sony Broadcast & Professional Europe has chosen Leader's LV5700A multi-standard HD/SD waveform monitor to check the performance of HD broadcast cameras arriving from Sony's manufacturing facility in Atsugi.
The HD cameras are delivered by air from Japan to Sony's European logistics center in the southern Netherlands city of Tilburg. Each unit is checked on arrival to ensure the cameras are performing to the same specification achieved on the production line.
The LV5700A provides reliable and repeatable video and audio waveform display functions and vectorscope, eye pattern and picture monitoring. It can handle a wide range of HD-SDI video formats and both 50 and 60 Hz SD-SDI systems.
