Leader has introduced the LV58SER04 multistandard MPEG decoder as a new option for its LV5800 modular multimonitor platform.
The LV58SER04 decoder module allows MPEG-2 compressed DVB-ASI signals to be decoded and displayed as a video waveform, video vector or monitor image. It can decode HD 1080i and 720p at 50Hz, 59.94Hz and 60Hz as well as SD 480i/59.94 and 576i/50. Other capabilities include display of transport stream bit rate, ETSI ETR-290-compatible errors, program information, program association table and program map table.
When operated with Leader's LV58SER40 digital audio module, the decoder also allows MPEG-2 ACC, Dolby Digital (AC-3) and MPEG-1 audio extraction and channel monitoring with signal level and lissajous waveform display.
