Leitch Clocks NBA Season in Record Time
By TVTechnology
published Leitch Technology Corp, the NBA and several score clock manufacturers worked together to develop a timing system for use during the NBA's 2002-2003 season.
The NBA-3901 timing module is based on Leitch's NEO platform. The module works with the venue score clock and shot clock, transmitting the times to NBA headquarters in Secaucus, N.J.
At NBA headquarters, the clocks are used for on-air graphics. The module is designed for precision accuracy because the game video needs to be completely in sync with the clocks from the game venue.
