Leitch has tapped broadcast industry veteran Dave Guerrero as its new vice president and general manager of the company's test and measurement product line.
Replacing Phil Steyaert who is retiring, Guerrero will manage the day-to-day operations of the Videotek business and work with key customers and industry forums to support new product development and increase market share.
"The opportunity to lead Leitch's test and measurement efforts with Videotek represents and excellent opportunity to focus on test and measurement and increase our market share using state-of-the-art technologies in innovative new products," Guerrero said.
In addition, Guerrero has active memberships in SMPTE, AES, SBE and IEEE and has earned two Emmy Awards for his contributions in engineering.
