Leitch, Videotek to showcase Integrated Content Environment at IBC2004
At IBC2004, Leitch Technology and the recently acquired Videotek will demonstrate how the company’s products deliver an Integrated Content Environment that provides users with a streamlined workflow for the production, processing, transmission, management, measurement and storage of content.
The company has an extensive range of HD solutions throughout transmission, master control, editing, test and measurement. With the solution, users can store, process, edit and route in both SD and HD.
In the content production area, post-production editors and producers can experience the VelocityHD nonlinear editing system alongside the latest VelocityQ SD multistream.
Leitch also will demonstrate NewsNet from the new NEXIO server platform. NewsNet makes content available only three seconds after ingest, to all nodes, all the time and with no restrictions. NewsNet demonstrates enhanced newsroom workflow with security, flexibility and openness. Key to NEXIO's scalability is MediaNet, a fully integrated content management application.
Leitch also will demonstrate:
- The re-engineered 6800+ modular processing platform, including HD and fiber optic; and the NEO modular platform for speciality products including HD;
- The Videotek DL-850HD HD and SD legalizer color corrector;
- The Panacea and Integrator routers, with the addition of Panacea Clean Switch for multiple, simultaneous SD and HD channels, Panacea Lite 12x1 router, and Integrator GOLD.
