London facility chooses Digital Rapids StreamZHD encoding
London post house Rushes has purchased a Digital Rapids StreamZHD encoder to add to its existing StreamZ system. Its HD enterprise ranges from telecine to visual effects and 3-D computer graphics — and now, with Digital Rapids, to encoding.
The StreamZHD turnkey system will be used in Rushes media transfer department, which services all the digital delivery requirements for its clients. The system will be encoding from SD or HD video, or from image sequences, creating encoded files that are then used for DVD creation, approval delivery to clients, final delivery to stations or in-house project management.
