Lucid to Serve as Master Dealer for DTV Innovations

DTV Innovations, formerly Micronas Broadcast Group, has selected Lucid Inc. to be its master dealer.

Lucid will establish a dealer network, serving both the high- and low-power television markets, for Palatine, Il-based DTV Innovations. Based in Mountain Top, Pa., Lucid represents manufacturers of TV and radio transmitters, antennas and digital encoders.

DTV Innovations develops software to help broadcasters manage the transition to DTV. The company's products include a 1RU DTV conversion system, PCI card, transcoder, and a PSIP generator that is compatible with all brands of digital encoders.
