Harris Corp. has announced that Edward L. Maier Jr. has been appointed vice president of Technical Operations for its RF Communications division. Prior to joining Harris, Maier was general manager of Terphane, Inc. and prior that worked for Emerson Electric. He is a licensed professional engineer. The RF Communications division focuses on secure wireless communications and is one of four operating divisions at Harris. The other divisions focus on broadcast communications, microwave communications and government communications.
