Software maker and hardware broadcast workflow provider, Masstech Group has teamed up with broadcast automation systems provide Sundance Digital to provide an automation/archive package.
Masstech's MassStore is an archive and management system that extends non-linear audio/video server storage with full content management and tracking. It interfaces directly with Sundance Digital's Titan and FastBreak Automation systems to provide an asset management system management core for single and multi-channel environments.
"Broadcasters today are looking to improve productivity and increase ROI. Our initiative with Sundance allows us to provide an end-to-end workflow solution, streamlining operations and eliminating redundancy," said Sudy Shen president and CEO of Masstech Group.
Titan is Sundance Digital's automation tool that can control hundreds of channels in a facility ore remotely managing channels at multiple locations. FastBreak Automation manages video servers and other station peripherals for a traditional broadcast facility.
Masstech Group and Sundance Digital are collaborating on other projects including major public and group-owned television stations.
