Media executives take center stage at The Cable Show
The National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) has announced the Tuesday General Session panel lineup for The Cable Show '07, its 56th Annual Convention & International Exhibition at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, May 7-9, 2007.
Confirmed panelists participating in the Tuesday, May 8, general session include:
- Peter Chernin, president & COO, News Corporation
- Robert Iger, president & CEO, Walt Disney
- Richard Parsons, chairman & CEO, Time Warner
- Brian Roberts, chairman & CEO, Comcast
Prior to the panel discussion, NCTA president and CEO Kyle McSlarrow will kick off Tuesday's General Session with brief remarks.
The theme for this year's show is "Competition Works. Consumers Win." The theme will reflect the many ways in which the show will reaffirm cable's strong, positive impact on the competitive telecommunications marketplace and its benefits for consumers.
