Mediacom Communications Corp. will begin including HDNet and HDNet Movies in its HD Pac service tier during the first quarter of this year, as part of an agreement with HDNet to deliver the 24/7 networks to Mediacom's HDTV subscribers.
The addition of the dedicated HD networks, said Mediacom's executive vice president of operations, allows customers to enjoy live and original HD programming at any time. To view HDNet and HDNet Movies, customers will need an HDTV set, a Mediacom HDTV cable box and a subscription to the Mediacom HD service tier.
Based in Middletown, NY, Mediacom Communications Corp. is the nation's eighth largest cable television company with approximately 1.55 million basic subscribers in 23 states.
