MediaFLO USA is adding programming from CBS, FOX, MTV and NBC to its FLO TV mobile television platform.
The programming, accessible through the platform’s mobile channels this month, is a mix of established and new primetime fare, including the new comedy "Welcome to the Captain" (CBS Mobile), "Lipstick Jungle" (NBC2Go) and "New Amsterdam" (FOX Mobile). Such primetime favorites as "Jericho," "Power of 10" and "Big Brother" (CBS Mobile); "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader" and "Prison Break" (FOX Mobile); "Medium" (NBC2Go); and "The Hills" extended season (MTV) will also be available.
Many of the shows will be simulcast — airing on both FLO TV and traditional television.
Via FLO TV, MediaFLO USA provides mobile content from most of the major broadcast networks, including those mentioned above as well as Comedy Central, ESPN and Nickelodeon. Wireless carriers AT&T and Verizon Wireless are among the largest U.S. companies that use the platform to offer mobile TV services to subscribers.
