Mediaproxy updates Enigma 4 logging
The Enigma 4 application generates low-bit rate content in real-time from up to four incoming audio and/or video programs.
Mediaproxy has updated its tapeless, automated broadcast logging system. The company’s Enigma 4 replaces labor-intensive VHS recorders with “operator free” hard disk-based server recording for broadcast compliance. The system offers various logging options with flexible browsing capabilities.
Enigma 4 provides 24x7 recording and storage of broadcast content, and makes it accessible via a standard Web browser on the Windows OS platform. The application generates low-bit rate content in real-time from up to four incoming audio and/or video programs.
The system offers user-defined segment durations from one minute to two hours per clip; no gaps (overlap recording at transition points); and a remote-controllable TCP/IP network infrastructure with Internet connectivity.
