Mexican university selects Dayang titling system
The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) Campus Acatlan has chosen a D-Cube-CG 3D character generator and graphics animation system from Dayang to brand its UNAM-CCTV educational television channel.
The D-Cube-CG-3D system has been installed in UNAM-CCTV's main control room on the Acatlan campus. The channel’s operational and engineering staff was impressed by the instrument's versatility, high-quality output, 3-D capabilities and the user-friendly control system, which allows fast operation during live transmission as well as offline.
The character generator enables users to create graphics, titles and animation, including real-time control of the motion-path of individual characters.
Running on an open PC platform, it incorporates editable news report templates for fast text editing and delivery. Weather forecasts can be generated automatically from title style templates, including electronic data code and individual transition/display effects for each object.
Financial and stock reports can be also generated automatically in response to real-time imported stock exchange data. Database-oriented template control of sports broadcasts allows information on specific teams and players to be generated and real-time updated, complete with scores and statistics.
D-Cube-CG-3D can be used standalone or networked. Dual-channel configuration with preview/program output enables preview of next delivery event, including individual control of each channel. All major written languages are supported as well as many minority scripts. An HD version is also available.
