Miller Named Executive Vice President of NBC Sports

published Jon Miller has been named executive VP of NBC Sports, overseeing all NBC Sports programming. Previously senior VP of programming at NBC Sports, Miller will now report to Ken Schanzer, president of NBC Sports.
Miller, who has experience in both programming and sales, will take on an expanded role in sports sales in his new position. He had been in program planning and development from 1988, before that serving as an account executive in sports sales.
Olympic coverage is controlled by Gary Zenkel, president of NBC Olympics.
