Miranda adds new routing and change-over capabilities to modular lineup
Miranda Technologies has added routing and changeover capabilities to its Densité Series of HD/SD interfacing and distribution modules.
The Densité Series HRS-1801 is an expandable 10x4 routing switcher designed for HD and SD signals, as well as compressed domain signals such as ASI or SSI/SMPTE-310M. The router's modular design is housed in a compact 2RU frame. It's available in non-reclock, reclock and clean/silent switching configurations, and can be used for multi-port monitoring and master control back-up applications. The HRS-1801 can also be controlled over Ethernet using a dedicated control panel and by the company's iControl/iRouter software. A serial RS-422 port is also available for control by automation systems.
The Densité Series HCO-1821 is a 2x1 HD/SD/ASI changeover device that offers clean and silent switching. It is operated by an electronic switch, which backed up by a latching relay in the event of power failure. The changeover supports 16 channels of embedded audio and Metadata, and also provides streaming video and audio level metering to improve remote monitoring.
The Densité Series now includes more than 75 modules for distribution, conversion, processing and routing of analog and digital, video, audio and fiber signals.
