Mitsubishi ships first 1080p DLP HDTV

published Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America has introduced its HD 1080p television sets featuring DLP technology from Texas Instruments.
Last week, Mitsubishi delivered its 52in WD-52627, 1080p DLP HDTV to select Southern California retailers. National distribution of the WD-52627 will begin over the next few weeks.
The company plans to also introduce three 73in 1080p DLP models (WD-73727, WD-73827 and WD-73927). Mitsubishi will ship nine 1080p DLP models this summer and fall, ranging from 52- to 73in.
