Mobile Ad-Supported Platform Purveyor Gets $5.5 Million

published SAN FRANCISCO: Greystripe, a start-up that distributes ad-supported mobile games and applications, has raised $5.5 million in Series C funding, PEHub reports.
NBC Universal tapped Greystripe last September to provide its platform for mobile distribution of network-branded games. NBCU’s stable includes Sci Fi, NBC, Bravo and others. More recently, Greystripe’s platform was launched on iPhones.
Incubic Venture Capital led the Series C round, along with previous investors Monitor Ventures and Steamboat Ventures, a VC division of Disney. Greystripe has raised $15.5 million total.
