Mogulus Web site allows users to create their own TV station
Mogulus, a privately funded online video enterprise, is creating a Web site on which users can create live, original television programming that can be seen by viewers on a global basis.
Users only need a video camera, broadband connection and the Mogulus online production tools. Producers can mix self-produced video material with YouTube clips and other original content to create a netcast. An auto feature will play clips when the content creator is not live.
Now in beta, the site promises that viewers will be able to call their channel of choice and participate in interviews and discussions using a Web cam. Producers will have the ability to screen calls using the Mogulus studio switchboard and can put a viewer live on the air.
Programming will include interactive graphics and hyperlinks, including the use of polls, games and other interactivity.
