MPEG Master Class On Deck at CES 2010
FREMONT, CALIF.: The MPEG Industry Forum will present its first MPEGIF Master Class at a Consumer Electronics Show. The class, “TV X.0 Present and Future,” continues the series of master classes conducted at the broadcast industry’s two biggest trade shows, NAB in April and IBC in September. The CES Show is held in January. The MPEG Forum’s master class is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 8 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Las Vegas Convention Center room N260.
Topics to be covered include Internet TV, mobile, 3DTV, addressable advertising and regulations.
“Looking at the future of television and online video, it is absolutely imperative to realize that while technologies are maturing, business models have not yet delivered,” said Sebastian Moeritz, MPEGIF president and CEO of dicas. “It is time for all stakeholders to get together to address and resolve regulatory aspects enabling content owners and service providers alike to intelligently and diligently engage with the most important commodities of viewers.”
