Roughly 400 commercial stations are still analog-only, more than a year after their government mandate to do so, although all have granted some type of extension by the FCC.

The other new stations include: KPAX Missoula, Mont., (Market Rank #169); WPTV, West Palm Beach, Fla. (Market Rank #39); KMTV Omaha, Neb. (Market Rank #78); WKBT La Crosse, Wis., (Market Rank #123); WTWB Greensboro, N.C. (Market Rank #46); WUPV Richmond, Va. (Market Rank #59); KTEN Sherman, Texas (Market Rank #160); WILX Lansing, Mich.
